Beautiful Pigeon Point

Today we went to Barcolet Bay, a secluded bay on the Atlantic. Another pretty peaceful beach.

Then we returned to Arnos Vale so Diana could snorkel. The day was better than our first time there. She saw a few big fish, a turtle, and brain coral. The sun was shining. It was a pretty few hours.

The next stop was a return visit to Turtle Beach. The sun was out. The beach is a great place to swim and enjoy the sun. Snorkeling is not done at this beach. This is a beach where the leatherback sea turtles nest. This happens during March through August.

Then we went to beautiful Pigeon Point. You must pay $3.50 per person to enter. The pictures speak for themselves.

Afternoon showers ended our day on the beach and we went to Cafe Mia for the Sunday roast.

Stan had lamb; Diana had pork. Along with the meat we had roasted potatoes, cauliflower, sweet potatoes, carrots, and Yorkshire pudding with gravy.

Neither of us had eaten Yorkshire pudding before, so we asked how to eat it. I think the owner found that amusing. The closest thing that it reminds us of is a sweet cream puff dough muffin, without the filling. We were told to cut it up and use it to soak up the gravy. The owner is from Rome. He married a woman from Tobago. They lived in England for 15 years, and now they have returned to Tobago and opened this Italian restaurant. On Sundays they specialize in a traditional British roast meal that would be served in England, and his wife cooks for this. The other days, they serve Italian meals. He cooks for the Italian meals. We were the only ones eating there, so we had quite a nice visit with Marcello. It was the best meal we have had on our trip. Diana enjoyed a smoothie and thought back to the delicious smoothies at Rum Point in Grand Cayman with the family. We also wish Steve a very happy birthday!
