Across the Sea to Tobago

We were up early and on the road by 6:40 AM. We were told to be at the ferry dock by 8 AM. Michael insisted we did not need to be there that early. The traffic into Port of Spain is terrible, but he felt sure we would be fine leaving at 6:40. We were there by 7:40. The ferry was an hour late in leaving. It was large and comfortable. Diana took Dramamine in case the water was rough.

Ferry from Trinidad to Tobago

We arrived in Tobago at 1:30 and Judy, the owner of Bijou des Caraibes, where we are staying for the next 8 weeks, met us at the dock. She and her husband drove us to Bijou des Caraibes, in Mt. Irvine, Tobago. Judy surprised us by upgrading our studio apartment to a one bedroom apartment. Below are some photos or our apartment. Notice the last picture. There is a nook off the living room where there is a single bed. If anyone wants to join us, come on over!

We will spend a few days getting used to our surroundings and deciding when we want to see the sights. We have a lot of time!
